About Vicxsan
Victor Marion (Vicxsan), French photographer and visual artist, explore presence, movement, and atmosphere in his images. He obtained a vocational teaching diploma (DEP) in photography in Montreal. This program enabled him to master all the technical aspects of photography, both in the studio and outdoors. But it was definitely his year-long trip to Japan that really influenced his visual style. Zen art, rooted in Buddhism, is one of his main inspirations, shaping both the aesthetic and the symbolism of his photos. Through his photography, he is in search of harmony of form and visual balance. More than anything, he aims to capture and represent the energy and spirituality within a scene across fashion, landscapes, and the territories he documents.
Whether photographing landscapes, fashion shows, or human activities, he creates a recognizable visual universe with his shots, bringing out the true essence of the moment, the place, and the subject. His desire to blend art, commercial, and documentary photography offers his clients a final selection of images that stand out in the photography market. He works with tourism and regional organizations looking to refresh their image, as well as with brands seeking innovative and engaging campaigns. He also brings his vision to editorial and documentary projects that explore places, cultures, and identities with depth. Currently based in Normandy, France, Vicxsan is represented by the Montreal based agency, Maison Toki.
